Installation Overview
The alternator replication circuit is designed for projects that require operation without the stock cluster, enabling the Subaru alternator to be triggered without a cluster or dash light. To complete the installation, connect the red wire to the 12V key on the power supply to the cluster, and the black wire with a white stripe to the cluster output to the alternator.
The connections for these wires will be at the connectors where the stock cluster used to be plugged in under the dash.
If you have a Haltech IC-7 or UC-10 Digital Dash, we also carry a complete plug-and-play harness for these applications.
1999-2001 Impreza Connection Points
GW (green w/white stripe) = 12V
BW (black w/white stripe) = Alternator
2002-2007 Impreza, WRX, and STi
RW (red w/white stripe) = 12v
BW (black w/white stripe) = Alternator
2004-2008 Forester (All)
GR (green w/red stripe) = 12V
BW (black w/white stripe) = Alternator
