Unfortunately, iWire cannot sell the plug-and-play wiring separately from the unit because the wiring harness of the unit must be modified in-house.

Cobb Green Speed Update

Due to the Cobb Accessport Green Speed update, we modified the harness to jump between the bulkhead and the Rear 02 connectors so the wideband can be utilized without logging and disabling the Rear 02 sensor. If you can log via an alternative tuning platform (ECUtek, Opensource, Standalone, etc.), you can adjust the harness to utilize the logging feature.

Logging Switch

If you want to utilize the logging feature, this will disable the rear 02 sensor and trigger a check engine light. Move the switch over to the “LOG" side of the switch and adjust the ECU parameters to accept this as an input.

ECU Map Calibration Notes

The ECU must be calibrated for any ECU logging to understand the new input. The problem is that the voltage range of the OEM Subaru Rear 02 sensor maxes out much lower than the wideband (around 1.25v max). Since the ECU was programmed with that 1.25v maximum in mind, it won't output anything higher than that number to your data-logging device. Once an adjustment has been made to the ECU calibration to allow for the full 0-5 v range, the wideband can log properly.


Alternative Logging Solutions

If logging through the Cobb Accessport, it is possible to reroute this input to the MAF and run a custom iWire Speed Density/ Wideband harness. With this setup, the Cobb AP will not display in AFR only the inpuinput's voltage (0-5volts), but it can be done while keeping all other components in play. Before reaching out to iWire, please consult your tuner to ensure your setup is a good option for Speed Density. More about Speed Density can be found in the link below.
