AVCS Install Guide - Intake AVCS
Overview
A brief overview of where the connectors will end up on the engine.
AVCS Solenoid plugged into Passenger’s Side
Note: The driver’s side will look the same.
AVCS Sensor plugged into Driver Side.
Note: The passenger side will look the same.
Step 1
Remove the lock of the Main Engine Receptacle. The lock will simply be removed with a set of pliers. Pull on one of the protruding pieces of the lock with pliers. The lock should pull out with a firm tug.
Step 2
Insert the White, Brown, Yellow, and Orange in the order shown in the picture below along the top row. This will match the bulkhead side. Once completed, pull gently on each wire to ensure they are seated, then reinstall the lock.
Step 3
After installing the pins, put the lock back in by firmly inserting it into the plug. Make sure the green rubber ring is straight after re-inserting the lock.
Step 4
Remove the lock of the Cam Crank Knock Receptacle. The lock will simply be removed with a set of pliers. Pull on one of the protruding pieces of the lock with a set of pliers. The lock should pull out with a firm tug.
Step 5
Insert the White, White Green, White Orange, and White Blue along the top row as shown in the image below. This will match the bulkhead side. Note that this is the plug from the bottom side. Once completed, pull gently on each wire to ensure they are seated, then reinstall the lock.
Step 6
Put the lock back in after installing pins by firmly inserting it into the plug.
PASSENGER’S SIDE PLUGS
AVCS Solenoid (yours will be blue)
AVCS Sensor
Ground with existing ground terminals on top of manifold.
