Functionality Notes
Haltech does not support all vehicle integration, so some systems like the MFD, Si-Drive, DCCD, etc., may not work as they did before removing the stock cluster and/or ECU.
The stock cluster converts the analog signal from the ECU to CANbus so when the cluster is removed, the tach signal is lost. We address this via the Tach harness that is supplied with iDCCD.
If you have our iDCCD and the Haltech Digital Dash, you will need to connect the analog Blue with Green Stripe Tach wire (included with iDCCD) from the expansion harness, Pin 8, to the iDCCD Expansion Connector, Pin 2.
Installation Overview
Plug the adapter into the original harness
Plug the adapter into the IC-7 digital dash
Run the “CAN” cable to the ECU and plug it into the backport
Plug in the Haltech Fuel Level Conditioner into the “FLC” cable
Tap in Fuel Level signal to Body Module (BIU)
Tap in Handbrake signal to Body Module (BIU)
Tap in Illumination signal to Body Module (BIU)
Tap in High Beam Signal to BOdy Module (BIU)
Body Module Location
It will be attached to the underside of the steering column.
CANbus Connector (CAN)
Plug in the Grey connector labeled “CAN” to the back port on Haltech ECU
Red | 12V |
Black | Ground |
White | CAN Hi |
Green | CAN Low |
Fuel Level - Brown wire w/White Stripe
Plug the Haltech Fuel Level Conditioner into the Grey connector labeled “FLC.”
Located in AVI-4 Pin 21 at Haltech IC-7
Use the included vampire clamp to tap the Brown wire w/White stripe for the fuel level to the Body Module (BIU)
Brown w/White strip → C7 Black w/Orange Stripe
To help identify the pin location, please take a look at the post below
Revisions shipped prior to 8.12.24 will have fuel level on AVI-1 Pin 18
10.10.24 Update - Haltech no longer requires the Fuel Level Conditioner, so we are providing the harnesses with a jumper but keeping the plug in place in the event your situation requires it.
UC-10 Dashes have fuel level on AVI-1 Pin 18
Handbrake BIU Connection - Red w/Yellow Stripe
Use the included vampire clamp to tap the Orange wire w/White stripe for the illumination to the Body Module (BIU)
Yellow w/Red stripe → C15 Grey
To help identify the pin location, please take a look at the post below
Illumination BIU Connection - Orange w/White Stripe
Use the included vampire clamp to tap the Orange wire w/White stripe for the illumination to the Body Module (BIU)
Orange w/White stripe → A2 Black w/WhiteStripe
To help identify the pin location, please take a look at the post below
High Beam BIU Connection - Light Blue
Use the included vampire clamp to tap the Blue wire for the High Beam signal to the Body Module (BIU)
Light Blue → D20 Brown w/Red Stripe
To help identify the pin location, please take a look at the post below
