Project Wiring Harness Overview
Thank you for purchasing the iWire Project Wiring Harness. This overview is designed to give some general instructions on utilizing this harness. Please note that this harness does not come with a full step-by-step guide. It is intended for professionals only with lots of wiring experience. In this overview, you will find some suggestions for harness layout in the car as well as the wiring schematic for the harness. It is up to you to determine the best way to integrate this harness into your chassis of choice.
This kit is designed to modify the electrical systems in your vehicle. Working around electricity can be dangerous and even deadly if proper care is not taken. These harnesses are, by default, set up for the immobilized models, and we repin a few points at the ECU so they can work with the non-immobilized ECUs. This means there will be an extra connector for the immobilizer box built in that looks like this. You can just tuck it away.
General Harness Layout
The overviews below show the basic layout for the harness in the car. Since this is a DIY project harness, you can run the wires in any manner you like however this layout shows the routing the harness was designed for.
